Coolant leak

Bright orange, green, or pink liquid leaking from a car could be coolant or antifreeze. While leaking coolant isn’t uncommon in older vehicles, a newer car shouldn’t experience this problem. This fluid is an essential component that helps keep the engine running smoothly. If the engine is extremely hot after driving or steam rises from under the hood, leaking coolant could be the culprit.
